Misty Monday

Misty Morning
In the misty morning
before the sun begins to rise
the world seems at peace with itself
right before our eyes.
No raised voices
to spoil our waking day,
just a sheltered silence
and the world seems
a million miles away.
In the misty morning
before the sun begins to rise.
David Harris
That Misty Monday feeling, you know you have to get going but that track looks really misty on a Monday morning!
So a poem then !
Beautiful image. I love misty mornings! I’m always reminded of the song “Homeward Bound”.

I love the trees. I want to find some more of Mr. Harris’ poems. I kept watching for a deer to peek over the top of the embankment π Beautifully captured, Sir. Thank you ~Scott

Everyone always asks if I’m in the military, I hold doors for people, take my hat off and stand up for a lady when they come into the room, so I can’t promise an occasional Sir won’t come out of the keyboard, but I’d be happy to call you Nigel, thank you π

Oh yes, I did think it look like it could come to life, lots of people think trees have a spirit in them. This one is a dancer !!!

I love these ‘scary trees’ as we call them, lots of them in Norfolk. Remind me of witches.

Hello Mari, good timing I was just spending sometime with your blog π Thank you for your recent Likes etc π
Yes I think as a kid, if this old tree was in the garden on a bad night, all the shadows on the window etc!!!
Under the covers time I would think!!
