Just lovely.
I prefer photos of the simple things too, but there are not that many of us around. So many ‘nature’ photographers ‘post process a nature subject to death’ and there is no natural essence left in the image.
Lovely shot. To me the power of this is bringing out the beauty in the simplest and oft overlooked everyday things around us. Fantastic, job well done.
VERY nice indeed . They look more than just simple how you’ve caught them Nigel .
We used to pick these, wrap the stem around the top under the head and *pop* them at each other π
These remind me of childhood! I love the depth and blurring……..thank you, Nigel π

Thanks Sharon, It’s a good point – maybe we gave ourselves more time to look at things back then ?
I think that’s the great thing about Art and Photography you have to gift yourself that time again!

Beautiful. I teach my boys to play ‘soldiers’ with these – a treasured memory from endless days running in the fields as a child. : )))

Memories of playing soldiers on sunny days… getting my hand whacked and losing ‘my head’ too many times! Lovely shot, Nigel. π
