Torc waterfall

The Torc river and waterfall are located in The Killarney Nation Park, county Kerry. These four images show some of the rivers flow over the Torc Waterfall and into Muckross lake below.

The D200 camera was mounted on a tripod for all these images and I used a slow shutter speeds to blur the rivers water flow.

    How beautiful that waterfall looks.
    Your photos always make me long for a trip to Ireland – it looks so beautiful and rustic (but I guess it has smoggy cities just like ‘down under’).

    • You would love the country side here Victoria, Yes we do have Dublin and Cork etc …

      I bet you could get some great street photography at the sametime!!!

  5. Beautiful images, Nigel. I was in Killarney National Park the weekend before last for a flying visit. I love it there.

      Its a great place I love it down at the lake’s, next time your back book a boat trip.

      I have the a number somewhere, the lad running the boat takes you around both lakes for half a day.

    Swooshy water I love it … cascading soft silk ..
    That light punching through a hole in the clouds to the lake is a terrific effect πŸ™‚
