Morning meditations, in a foggy kilkenny landscape

Fog over a Kilkenny Farm

Morning meditation
I find nothing to fill the emptiness,
Of a very cold grey moment
In the endless time of my waking up attempts,
When feeling is painful and the morning is fogged,
Time comes and goes as I try to understand,
Understanding becomes big, huge as a true thing can be,
Truth is relative they say,
Points of view and ways to see,
Interacting is so self defined,
Perceptions float when empty seems deathlike,
Silence in and out is not necessarily peace,
Nothing is rational in a sleepy fogged mind,
But the sun has no fault for this,
So,
I decide to get up from my warm bed,
In a fogged, cold, grey and empty morning,
Carry on my sleepy, fogged mind,
With the conviction this certainly is a different day.

Absolutely beautiful image Nigel. Quite haunting really and in this of course it precisely matches the words. Wishing you and Molly a beautiful day in Ireland. : )))

Let me just step into that landscape … brush softly past the sheep and drift my way up to the Moon … she waits …
How absolutely lovely to be able to catch a moment like this Nigel !

Good day, Nigel. i love the restrained sphere in the sky, I almost thought it a lens flare. There is a pleasant eeriness about this image, with the fog, the contrast of the dark eyes and heads in shadow, and the soft light on their backs and in the foreground textures. I love it π Nigel, I took some time to review some more of Mirela Kapaj work; Thank you for introducing me to this poet’s work (and indirectly the sites found in my searching). Above all, I was delighted to find ‘blue mind’.

An interesting image in that in sets the sheep in a surreal-looking landscape! It looks as if they have landed on Venus perhaps. Very atmospheric.
