November comes And November goes, a Poem by Elizabeth Coatsworth.

November comes
– Elizabeth Coatsworth
November comes And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.

I do like that poem! I had to look away from the bottom image, though I do love the composition. I’m in denial. Totally.

You’re welcome Nigel. It’s been a very busy few weeks, so hard to keep up with all my usual blog-friends. I seem to have taken on a bit too much volunteering work! Ah well it keeps me out of trouble. : )))

The poem is nice and suits the season, as well as image is really fitting the poem. Volunteer work helps people, it’s great you can do that. Being busy is good, as well.
