Who Has Seen the Wind?
By Christina Rossetti
Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you:
But when the leaves hang trembling,
The wind is passing through.
Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I:
But when the trees bow down their heads,
The wind is passing by.

What a great tree! It’s weathered like the face of an old cowboy.
Love the poem too Nigel.

That’s a great comment, these old wind swept trees, yes plenty of character like an older face π π π

I am so glad you wrote of Christina Rossetti! I love your photos and the way you choose very fine poetry, too. I had been thinking of this exact poem from my childhood!
