Very nice composition in this shot, Nigel. I like the level of the horizon in the frame. (this is one area – horizons – where I have a lot of trouble deciding where to put it. Seems to vary a lot, depending on the other subjects within the frame).

Hello Vicki π
Thank you for your comments π
I think it was the position of the boats that kind of made me chose the composition, I didn’t want to have the first one right at the bottom of the image as I like the shadow and reflection of it in the water. :), but then not to high at the same time. π

You got your feet wet for this one. π
I hope you hopped in and took her for a dabble down the river.

The water is a wonderful shade of golden green. Little Sigma sure loves the water.
We were born from water and we’re always trying to get back to it………

Hello Sharon π
Yes a little be then is so hot at the moment it was a pleasure π
This part of the river Suir is tidal and when the water is low , all kinds of sea weed and alga are visible – I think that’s is the green colour in the mud – yes that camera is able to collect lots of light and colour π π
I think that must be true, I always want to be near it anyway and in good weather even more so π

Ps.. the lads fishing had two boats out, in the distance – If they had come in I would have asked for sure. Next time.

Perfect weather at the minute for messing about on a river, well one can dream sadly am not so sure floating down the local canal would be quite so appealing
