Further up the river shall we go
The tangled trees above, mirrored below.
Throwing rocks, watching as the ripples spread
on Into our lives.

The thoughts within our head,
Fleeting moments as what stirs behind us
Embraced in a silence, no one can find us
Swinging, past, present, new laughs, old memory’s
faint whispers of a future, soon we’ll see.
Come further up the river with me.
.
Nigel these are magical……can you imagine living in that house on the river? To walk down each afternoon and watch the sunset…….
I love the gentle mountain in the background of the second shot. Dusk is settling over the land but there’s still light and strength just beyond. π
Golden light………I just love it! π

Hello Sharon…
Thank you for you visit and very welcome comments π
The river Suir is just one of my favourite places in county Tipperary, and both images are taken only yards apart, as the river bends, the house in the first image is a farm house but not your usual farm in Tipperary π
They own horse and two fantastic black Donkeys in the fields below along the river, yes ! what a life – things to dream of hay !:)
The square house in the second picture was rebuilt in the 70’s and lived in as a family home since, can you image growing up in and old square house like this, you would not be sort of friends wanting to visit π

PS the Mountain is Slievenamon, and she does look very graceful in this light π

I wondered if that was Slievenamon……she’s a beauty alright π

Oh dear…….I thought that was a silo or similar structure but never thought it was a house! An exact opposite energy to the farm house in #1.
I’d love to see those black donkeys Nigel π

I know, but these old square houses are loved here, at some point in the past they were the standard farm house, the animals would have been kept below in the winter and everyone else was dry and warm up above π
Will do my bests and take a long lens the very next time I am passing π
Thank Sharon π
