Flowers an in depth look.
This afternoon has turned into a wonderful day :), the weather here in Ireland has gone from spring to almost summer like in one week and everything is coming to life. I went out with Molly our Golden retriever after lunch for a walk along the river bank and there are flowers coming out every step you take.
As always I had a camera with me and took lots of images, its always fun with flower beds to play with lens depth of field and the panel of images below shows the effects of Lens apertures f8 upto f1.8 on image depth.
More images from this walk to follow….

Isn’t it lovely when you can get out and about like this and enjoy each little bit of the walk and take time over photographs .. SO much easier in better weather like this Nigel π
ps I like seeing your info about your photos and comparisons …

Hello Poppy,
Yes, It’s hard to imagine for me now but up to the last few years I was office based in Watford or London, even now in the middle of this Irish recession with everyone fighting for the scraps I insist on get out and be with nature….
I think this is vital for an Artist Poppy, your own walk about posts inspired me, Artists need to give themselves time to look and see everything. Again your see it, draw it, photo it – posts are a great reminder of this π

Oh gosh .. what a lovely thing to say Nigel really . Thank you so much . So glad you have been able escape an office in Watford … Life must be immeasurably better now even if ££ are less …
Somehow life for me has taken on an extra dimension these last few months .. and I’m hanging onto it with all my might . They do say Capricorns take a long time to grow into themselves . Well I have been V V patient …. I’m very thankful to meet so many lovely people here in the blogosphere it’s the icing on the cake π
Love what you show us all here on your blog it takes many people away and into where they would like to be …
