The Following images are from a local vintage motor show, held in our local town of Callan each year as part of the towns summer festival.
Its amazing just how much pride is take in restoring these old tractors and Vintage cars, to take them out and show them off each year is clearly a pleasure to these local Farmers and car lovers.
I should name this post “BOYS and their TOYS !!!!!”

Hello Andy π π
Yes they have, some of the local farmers still use these older tractors for smaller fields and lanes. The big John Deere tractors are just to big !!!

There are a few antique tractor collectors in my area, and every year they gather their pride and joy specimens at the local county fair. Amazing what pristine condition some of them are in!

I was leaning on the car in Enisstymon having a coffee and into the parking space next to me an elderly gentleman pulls up in his tractor. In to the barbershop for a trim and then off he went.

Yes. While I was in Claire and Kerry it seemed like no sooner had one pulled off into a field then a cousin would appear within 10 minutes to take its place
