Winter in County Kilkenny, 4 landscape images from a Decembers day.

A Winters Day in December 2014
County Kilkenny
Landscape photography : Nigel Borrington
These last few winter days in county Kilkenny have been very changeable, some mornings frosty and others wet and misty, I just love capturing these days.
December here is just wonderful for Landscape Photography with moody skies and misty forest walks.

What mysterious images, Nigel. You really captured the violet gold light of a misty winter forest.
Just wonderful :).

I love the mist in these photo’s…it beckons one to go deeper. Of course we know its a trap and are oblivious to the danger ahead, yet we have no choice but to investigate.
Sorry Nigel, got a little carried away there. Love the photos. ~ Dave

No worries. Are you a film or digital user? Or both?
December 12, 2014 at 2:39 am
Hello Steve π π
Mainly Digital these days, once a month I will process some Ilford HP4/5 film just for the fun, It has become very hard to do any colour film here in Kilkenny , one place processes but OMG (So badly !!! π ) – I still love seeing the results of some black and white exposures though!!!
Some proper film Grain – Nothing like it π

I’ve just started using film again. Had my first 2 rolls processed a few weeks back and the owner said it’d been 25 years since he’d developed for a half frame camera! Would love to process BW myself, but not sure how. Apparently BW can be developed in caffeine too.
