Callan, Autumn and Winter
The weather here has changed, it’s colder and wetter and starting to feel a little more like autumn.
Winter is just around the corner so I have put together this set of images, they show Callan as it can be in the winter months.
Callan a sense of place : Autumn and Winter

Good morning Nigel! I like all of them, but the one with the fog and the next one, the detail, are great!!! They have that kind of atmosphere…
I must also add I love your presentation of the pics, so neat and clean….It helps to highlight the beauty of the B&W photographies!

I haven’t had a chance to catch the fog yet. It sure looks cold. I love the gate photo π

Hello Norma π
Thank you, We are having a very mild but wet week ahead so I think we may get lots more – Thank you π
The gate is for St.Mary’s in Callan, it’s very old – they don’t make them like this any more π

Loving those streetscapes Nigel – you certainly know how to create a sense of drama. The caste scenes are eerily beautiful too, with their own very different theatricality.
