Callan, Autumn and Winter

The weather here has changed, it’s colder and wetter and starting to feel a little more like autumn.

Winter is just around the corner so I have put together this set of images, they show Callan as it can be in the winter months.

  1. Good morning Nigel! I like all of them, but the one with the fog and the next one, the detail, are great!!! They have that kind of atmosphere…
I must also add I love your presentation of the pics, so neat and clean….It helps to highlight the beauty of the B&W photographies!

The gate is for St.Mary’s in Callan, it’s very old – they don’t make them like this any more πŸ™‚

Loving those streetscapes Nigel – you certainly know how to create a sense of drama. The caste scenes are eerily beautiful too, with their own very different theatricality.
